Gonna make a prediction now because all my instincts are telling me it's going to happen.

Hiring Norv Turner will be the decision that will ultimately cost Ron Rivera his job as head coach of the Carolina Panthers.

The only positive out of this.

Cam deserves so much better than Norv. It’s sickening.

The odds are good that this may indeed end up as a reality.  Then again it just might work.  It will at least be entertaining watching the huddle lose it's 2 collective brain cells that they manager to rub together as it unfolds.

If this is true let's all welcome our new OC.  And let's see the results before we cast judgement on the hire.  Ron has seen the man up close....I think that counts for a lot.

I am expecting the best.  And I hope all of you who have been campaigning for Shula to get fired do too.

Norv has a good group to get started with..I think his guidance on adding some pieces will serve us well.  I bet Hurney will listen to him....y'all got to like that!!

    • Bryce put it in a spot only his guy could get it only for David Moore to drop it. T_T Tremble and Horn both struggled yesterday and that killed me since they're two of my favourite players. Tommy knows he has to come down with this one. Folks were understandably saying that JT would've caught that had he not gotten hurt a few plays earlier. The more I look at this play, the more I think that Bryce made the right decision throwing it out the back of the endzone. He could have tried to laser it in to Thielen, but that safety is lurking awfully close inside. Insuring the field goal here after a 44sec drive to end the half was the right move.
    • Except Bryce was the main reason we were in it
    • NFL Pro has the All-22 up already 😄 Going to grab a play or two from each redzone series to put screenshots to. Looks like AT angled his route off to the near pylon rather than the back corner where Bryce was throwing to. I imagine this is something they'll quickly try to figure out with Thielen back from IR. After watching the All-22 again, this was actually a pretty nifty play. I thought it was a TE screen to Tremble because of the way XL charged the DB, but he quickly shed and kept upfield as seen in the second screenshot. This looks like it had multiple layers built into it with AT running the crosser, XL the fade, Tremble to the flat. The progression would call for the play to go to Chuba here as the LB does follow Tremble out into the flat. Ball hits Chuba low and in the hands, but the LB does a good job disrupting the catch.
