Panthers will interview Norv Turner

NFL.com's Ian Rapoport confirms the Panthers will interview Norv Turner for their offensive coordinator vacancy.

The Charlotte Observer reported the Panthers' likely interest in Turner just hours after Mike Shula's firing. Rapsheet's report calls him a "top choice." Turner has long been a sound offensive mind but it is debatable if he would be different enough from Shula to give the Panthers' attack the jolt it needs.

I know this may some of a surprise, but Hurney doesn't hire coordinators.

Norv is a looser. He hasent won anything in 25 years. Like I said the game has past him by, He's Shula just 12 years older.

Yeah he wasn't healthy and didn't feel like returning till June or July of last year when it was too late.
