Rap Sheet says it's Norv

The fact that Rap Sheet is tweeting this means it's all but decided.

I think most people assume that Norv is Ron's first choice, especially after that presser.

I mean, listening to Ron talk about the types of candidates he was considering was basically like reading Norv Turner's bio.

Pretty sure he wanted Norv as a consultant then, he wasn't going to replace Shula as OC. Norv took the OC job in MN.

Your post just indicated otherwise, that he had the choice of the same job with each team and picked them over us. He picked the better position over the worse one, rather than choosing the Vikings over the Panthers...

So instead of just having Norv in the first place he kept Shula....coulda had Norv all along and that'd be better than Shula regardless of how Norv is at present.

2014: 27th in ypg, 20th in ppg, 14th in rush ypg, 28th in pass ypg, 28th in sacks given up

2015: 29th in ypg, 16th in ppg, 4th in rush ypg, 31st in pass ypg, 25th in sacks given up

2016: Resigned halfway through the season because his offense still sucked. At the time of his resignation they were 31st in ypg and 23rd in ppg

This is gonna go great....

2017 Vikings without Norv: 11th in ypg, 10th in ppg, 11th in pass ypg, 7th in rush ypg, 7th in sacks given up

I'd much rather us go with new blood , young OC that doesn't already have ties with the current staff. Bring someone in for once based on their abilities/potential and not by familiarity/picking your favorites and friends. 

How is this any different from signing M.Kalil? Has had a bad track record in the last few years, may have been good once in distant past but recent history has been abysmal. Not sure why youd be excited about this .

and a revamped offensive line, healthy stefon diggs, a peaking kyle rudolph, athletic power back, adam thielen as a primary target. 

also, a defense that keeps your offense on the field, and great field postion.

Hard to use 2017 against Turner, same team but completely different roster.

Yall remember when Sean McDermott got fired in Philly?  He was supposed to be awful for us.
