Jeremy did a complete 180 in about 2 hours. Norv must already be on the way. I really wanted him a few years ago. Maybe he is just what Cam needs.

Normally I'm not a big fan of some of the older retread coaches, as some people call them, but in this case it might good.  Cam deserves someone with years of experience that has worked with other successful QBs.  

Also he might carry enough clout that Ron gives him more freedom then he would a younger inexperienced OC.

Norv Turner is not going to make this offense great.  The guy seems to have a reputation built on name alone and his teams have always seemed to under achieve

And Norv has experience working with running backs like CMC as well. Remember, he coached both Tomlinson and Sproles. I think he would be able to maximize CMC‘s ability.

FYI; Rivera's description of a candidate having "early early early" experience in the college game but spending most of their time in the pros does fit Norv Turner.

Turner got his start at Oregon and USC.

Nice video. He's got a good track record and, having spent a year away from the League, may have a fresher approach then some may think. He definitely has the potential to come in here and make Cam an even better QB. I also liked what he said about San Diego not keeping Rivers' talent around him (VJax, LT, Tolbert, etc.) being a detriment.

If we need to move on from DA, its unlikely the Vikings keep Bridgewater, Keenum and Bradford this offseason. Norv should know them all.
