I like Norv, don't think he was ever cutout to be a HC...like many coordinators out there, but I was hoping for something a little less conservative from Ron, all the while knowing it's a waste.

Cam needs someone that isn't afraid to upset him. The entire offensive coaching staff tip toes around Cam. 

 

Norv Turner has the resume not to hold back when Cam fugs up. And that will be good for Cam in the long run.

Sounds good in theory, but what happens if Cam decides he's not happy and decides he's going to take his services somewhere else.  Ask Smitty...it's easy to force your release if you talk poo in the media.

And it's also worth remembering that Gruden got displaced when his players basically mutinied.

And most leaders in general.  Most people at the top, or near the top don't like those who disagree with them.

I'm not saying you are incorrect, I'm just genuinely curious of some evidence of this
