If Star is really only average is redrafting for a guy like Daron Payne ( Alabama) the best option or do we have too many other needs?

We cannot underestimate the value of Star.  While his stats may not be stellar we have to remember he occupied blockers leaving Luke, Shaq and TD free to make tackles.

Charlotte 49er Larry Ogunjobi at #47 was a steal for the Browns in the 3rd round. Was one of the best rookie DTs this season when given a chance to play.

That's  getting kind of tired.  Star is not the only space-eater in the game.  Perhaps if he was a more astute rusher like we thought that he was coming out of college, then he'd have more value.

Honestly, I'm waiting for a list of FAs to come out,  but Love isn't a stump on a tree.  If Star's market is greater than expected,  then we can also plan to draft his replacement.

Because he has a huge ego. He failed during his first trip to the NFL so now he has something to prove. 

If it were me, I would stay at Alabama
