Ron Rivera likely gone with new owner

Im tired of the whole ron will be employed in 2 seconds arguement. So what if he is? Doesn't mean that team will be successful. Cam has saved his job far to long, that team probably won't have a luke kuechly either. If he takes shula with him that team is already destined for failure.

The most recent sales that I know of were the Browns and Jaguars. The Browns' sale from the time the first rumors emerged to Haslam being announced was about 2 months. The Jaguars' sale was sprung unexpectedly in the news conference where Jack Del Rio was fired, so no one knows how long that process took. So wow, now that I'm looking into this, we might have a new owner in place by the time the draft rolls around.

Basically,  I wouldn't bet on it.  I'll believe it when I see it.

It would certainly be a justifiable move,  but one that could easily go south in several aspects, including from a continuity and chemistry perspective.  Regardless of what a few people believe,  we're not headed toward "Brownsville" at the moment.

On the surface, I have a difficult time believing that new ownership would fire a head coach who has been as successful as Ron has.

But, I also think that it's possible that new ownership looks at this team and thinks sees that they have a guy in Cam who should be the face of the NFL and they have a coach who hampers that by insisting on a slow rolling ball control offense predicated on time of possession. I could definitely see them having a conversation with Ron about the offensive philosophy and things going south. The coaching caurosel will be over by the time new ownership is in place so I see virtually no chance that Ron isn't our coach next year but I think 2019 is very much a question mark.

Hurney? LOL! Gone.

They're acting like Rivera is Belichick.

I sure hope so. As long as Rivera is here, he will keep Shula.

Bingo and you got your pie this time.

Rivera keeping SHula is a firable offense don't care if he was better than above avg HC, that's a firable offense period end of story.
