This team was in a no win situation regardless if they won the division or not.

They still would've had to face the Falcons who were also capable of beating this team, Atl probably would've swept them too in the regular season if Jones hadn't dropped that wide open td in the first game. They have a good shot at getting back to the SB considering their defense is a lot better than it was last year.

We play the game we played today against Atlanta in 30 degree weather in Bank of America and we beat the falcons rather easily. Cam was on point and Matt Ryan would have been no where near as accurate as Brees is

It would have been a 23-17 type game in my opinion with the falcons getting a late garbage score.

How about not losing to the freaking Bears in the manner they did? That seemed pretty avoidable.

That should've been an early warning sign about their playoff fate, as much as people like to clown on the Falcons they don't lose to nonplayoff teams like that.

I felt Atlanta's coaching staff would've been more prepared for this game, the Rams were the best scoring team in the league and the Falcons shut them down.

You mean like the Cutler led dolphins at home?

They lost by 3 points and had 17, this team was held to just 1 FG and lost by 14, more embarrassing. Elite teams don't get nearly shutout by nonplayoff teams like the Panthers did.

The Falcons were a Jordan Howard drop from losing to the Bears and lost to the Dolphins and Bills around the same time in low-scoring affairs. Never know when he'll go full Sarkisian again.

Yeah I know they had some problems throughout the regular season too but their main problem is blowing leads, I guess from being too complacent when they're focused they're very good. Compared to the Panthers they do have the pieces to win.

We were a perfectly thrown dropped TD pass away from winning this game.

That could mean a few things:

1. The Saints probably aren't as unstoppable as people claim and are likely more vulnerable on the road.

2. Cam is a very good QB who overcame a poorly coached first half and almost pulled an upset.

3. The football Gods finally turned the tables on them (numerous teams dropped wide open passes against the Panthers this year that would've changed the outcome of the games).
