Someone who used to work for the team has said that that there are several people in the front office right now doing jobs they're not really qualified for.

The belief is that if someone comes in and sees how the operation is being run, there are likely to be a lot of people looking for work.

I don't like it either but your head coach just got extended and he is a Shula guy.   I also think Cam is a Shula guy.  Hard to fire a guy after an 11 win season.  It sucks for a message board but that's reality.

Well if Cam wants them to stay then maybe people shouldn't complain when the team loses since he doesn't want them gone. If he wanted a coaching change and they don't listen to him that would be different.

I think this is Marty  trying to secure HIS job.  He sees RR and Shula as supportive.   Instead of waiting for the new ownership to make decisions, he is frantically trying to secure his environment before the changes.  He over reacts, like when he gave huge contracts to the core of 4-12 and 6-10 win teams in 2010/11

I don't agree with the bold part. I actually think Cam and the rest of the offense hates Shula. Why would they like him and his horrible plays?

Jerry Richardson loved to reward loyalty.  Sometimes he did it by giving people jobs they weren't actually qualified for.  That's how a guy with a PR background wound up as our GM, and how one whose primary experience was with booking flights and making hotel reservations almost ended up replacing him.

My biggest hope right now is that the next owner actually demands people be qualified for jobs before he gives one to them.

Cam helped Shula get the OC job in the first place.

Doesn't necessarily mean he supports him now, but it does confirm that at one time he did.

How did he help Shula get promoted? All I remember was Rivera talking about "continuity" being the reason why he gave Shula the job.
