The GM decides on the head coach.  The head coach chooses assistants.  GMs just have to approve the contracts.

Owner approval isn't absolutely needed right now because Richardson isn't part of the operations.

Who cares.  Good thing about coaches is their contracts don't count against the salary cap. So we are not stuck with him.  New owner might come in Nd and clean house still.

The way this franchise is thinking the 15-1 season was like a championship for them, it's reminiscent of WCW when they continued to rely on the NWO when it started to get worn out as the focal point of the product.
