Shaq Thompson - Number 1 Gettleman Bust?

I can truthfully say our defense looked better in the 2 games without him. I don't know if I should call him a bust or just a waste of a draft pick. Hindsight is 20-20, but we could have got Landon Collins who I for certainly say he would have a greater impact on our defense. 

I am actually glad the 2018 draft won't be headed by David Gettleman

Shaq T has been very disappointing. The more he plays the less I want to see him on the field.

Btw, it wasn't really 20/20. Everyone knew safety was a big hole and even I wanted Collins. DG wiffed on a few obvious choices.

He’s much better at TDs position that he is the “Buffalo Nickle”. I think he’s going to be pretty good going forward as TDs role is reduced

the role he is asked to play is completely unfair to his skillset. Hes covering slot WRs. How many times did you see davis do that this year? He’s a bust not because of his skillset but because our team does not need him

For now he's at or near the top. I think Butler actually looked better this year when healthy. Bradberry is slowly playing himself into a backup role.

When JR s mini me takes over the team, Thomas Davis and Saq will both probably get a contract extension.
