When Cam got hurt (on an illegal hit that should’ve been called) the place erupted (louder than when they won at the end) and everyone around me was going nuts declaring the game over and yelling Scam among other extremely clever cracks. And to wish a hurricane on an entire city (most of who have nothing to do with Saints football) is incredibly low.  Many people lost their lives.  Some of you need to chill tf out.

You're not arguing about anything relevant. Cam Newton was a QB in the pocket and he was hit in the head by a defender. By rule that is an illegal hit and a 15 yard penalty with an automatic 1st down. There is nothing in the rule regarding intent or ability of the defender to avoid delivering a hit to the head.
