When Cam got hurt (on an illegal hit that should’ve been called) the place erupted (louder than when they won at the end) and everyone around me was going nuts declaring the game over and yelling Scam among other extremely clever cracks. I wanted to punch each and every one of the losers in there. Cam is the man that’s all I gotta say. fug them and fug Shula

It's absolutely awful to cheer for an injury so screw those people but...

That wasn't an illegal hit.

And to wish a hurricane on an entire city (most of who have nothing to do with Saints football) is incredibly low.  Many people lost their lives.  Some of you need to chill tf out.

seriously?  watch it again.

no way for the defender to slow up, cam did a 360 into him and got freight-trained.

You're not arguing about anything relevant. Cam Newton was a QB in the pocket and he was hit in the head by a defender. By rule that is an illegal hit and a 15 yard penalty with an automatic 1st down. There is nothing in the rule regarding intent or ability of the defender to avoid delivering a hit to the head.

I am getting over the most painful loss of the year and arguing about this?

Yes, it was painfully obvious you were talking about katrina

and stop it or take a week off.

    • No one is allowed to criticize XL unless you want serious clap back. He’s just one of those players that is immune to criticism on this board. But sorry that I don’t expect week in and week out drops, body catching, jumping for every ball when you don’t have to, horrible spatial awareness from a 1st round WR. He has so much to work on that it’s insane these issues didn’t drop him to atleast the 3rd round during the evaluation process. To make matters worse, the best RB today was a 4th round RB we could’ve waited later for and gotten someone like Cooper DeJean who filled a need in the 2nd who a lot of posters were pounding the table for including me.
    • Keywords there "Playoff offenses".  They might be the a huge piece, but in every case there, they are not the only piece.  might be a good run game, good QB, or great coaching.  Meanwhile yes we have a good RB, but we're still like 24th in Rush YPG.  Other Recieving options?  basically all rookies.  QB?  A guy who was benched after 2 games and just now learning the NFL.  Hell we have a rookie coach.  It. Takes. Time.
    • His route running has improved as the year has gone on, but the gator arms show up every week. From all accounts he works his ass off, so let's hope he continues to do so this offseason to improve his hands catching.
