It's not rigging. The last five minutes of the game is what really matters and that's where you see the bias. The other 55 minutes are about ratings and facilitating. Look at what happened to Jeff Tripplet today. He jobbed the Chiefs so bad yesterday, he was forced to announce his retirement.

the super bowl is the biggest spectacle (broadway show of the year). Your not going to see a team without a star at the qb position make it to the big game in today’s nfl (unless you can mask it with another story line like brother vs brother, Peyton Manning’s last ride, or Jon Gruden revenge game). 

No way is the worlds biggest show and money maker going to see a Case Keenum-Blake Bortles final.
