Another crappy game to marinate on all through the off season and a coach with a fresh contract extension whom anyone with a brain wants to see gone.  No telling what sort of fool will have the bucks to buy this team now.  At this point things look a bit bleak to me as a Panthers fan..

I'm not the one making the claim so it's not on me to provide evidence. Regardless, that was hardly the 'definitive' play of the game. So many other opportunities throughout the night.

Don't care, wasn't the main point anyway and yea it would be on you. The main point is if he was in no condition to be a target on the play he shouldn't have been in. Watch some 30 for 30s and miced ups. "If you take a shirt and take the field there are no excuses"

If he's in on a play it really makes no difference if he was the primary read or not, gotta come down with that, which is the point we were referencing.

Don't be shocked if the Panthers get in trouble for playing Cam after that big hit.  Cam was clearly concussed and played it off as if he had a problem with his eye.

If he legit had a concussion, good.  They need to be in HUGE trouble.

Cam is a fugging beast though.

Again.

And again.

And again and again and again.

Second play of the game....timeout..... Late play call.

Shula, you rascal.

I bet he gets a raise.

Yep and keeping Cam so slow until he has to let him loose.

2 touchdowns fast in 4th quarter just shows we could have pounded them the whole game.

my new name for Ron is deer light Ron— looked like Deer in the headlights the whole game.

As an outsider looking in, I’d really like to answer the mind boggling question of why some games Cam can multiple encroachment penalties with his killer cadence, and games like today he is constantly snapping it with a second left and getting hit 12 fuging times with 15 hurries.

I genuinely feel like some nerdy intern needs to figure the poo out with an algorithm or some sabermetrics or some poo to see what the actual fug is going on.

Its not all Shula. There were several times tonight where Cam was waiting waiting waiting for like ten seconds and I didn’t here his on point readyyyyyyyyyyy cadence that draws offsides.

Think about this folks. Before our second play of our first offensive possession we call a mutha fuggin time out. I can't process or digest that. Most teams have their first 10-12 plays scripted. We have a week to prepare for team we play twice a year and that's kicked our ass twice this year. We're ready to run ONE FUGGIN PLAY??? Are you kidding me??? And Shula is a professionally paid Offensive Coordinator. This shows you everything you need to know about our coaching staff. It also should explain why we are so damn inconsistent.

How about 5+ seconds to snap the ball after a 10 second run off? Why weren't they ready at the line after the ref ran onto the field?

You seem to be under the mistaken impression that Ron Rivera and his coaches coach any sense of urgency into their team.

Matter of fact, the Panther's "won" the TOP battle 33:49 to 26:11.

That's a fugging WIN in Ron Rivera's book, baby.

P.S. I found it hilarious how Aikman throughout the game was questioning why the Panthers weren't going no-huddle because he knew Cam was very good at it.  I laughed and laughed and laughed.

I'm thinking that has to be on Shula with the playcall. Which is sad because apparently our WRs are running training camp routes so it would seem easier to call those plays quickly.

Absofuginglutely.  The Panthers really need to worry about losing fans this offseason.  It's not just those of us who are pissed at Shula and Rivera.  It's the entire climate right now.  I cannot understand how they don't see that Rivera and Shula are hated so much.  Tons of great talent out there, but they continue to stay with the subpar staff.  fug em.  Literally.  I actually didn't have much invested in this playoff game for the first time EVER.  Normally I'm nervous days out and checking all the websites for strategy/tips/etc.  This time?  Nada.  I knew the game was on Sunday and that's it.  No apprehension or nervousness whatsoever.  I expected a loss.  It was going to take a herculean effort by Cam to win this one and after last weeks game, I just didn't see it as possible (with this coaching staff that is).  I didn't even prepare for the game, just did my normal things and then checked in the afternoon to see what time it started.  That's the first time I've done that in 20 years of Panthers football.  I used to get nervous and read voraciously for regular season games even in our horrible years...but this season is different for some reason.  I guess it dawned on me that if Jerry really didn't care about winning and was ok with mediocrity then why in the hell should I worry so much?  We'll never win with an owner that doesn't care about winning.  Remember, the average owner made like 350 million this year.

This isn't the first time I've lost interest in a team I cared about.  Happened to the Braves too, back in the early 2000's.  As soon as Turner, a guy who wanted to win, sold it to a *corporation* who only cared about the bottom line, I stopped caring about them.  And before that I was a "watch every single game" kinda guy.  You would find me in front of the TV at 7:05 most every day watching TBS.  But the corporation bought the team and immediately starting cutting payroll.  They want a profit and don't care about winning.  So I said "screw you".  I never turned back.  I can't even name one single Braves player right now.  Not one.  I haven't watched a Braves game in over 10 years (probably closer to 15).

The new Panthers ownership needs to fix this ship.  I won't leave the Panthers because I love them more than I did the Braves, but the feeling still persists.  FIX THIS SHIP.
