It’s not the defense that’s fragile. It’s the offense. Any defense would have the same outcome in this scenario.The D is going up against the best offense in the league. It’s absurd to ask them to shut them down all game and wait for the O to do something.

The offense is repeatedly not scoring. Not sustaining drives and leaving the D out to dry. They shut them down the first few series and the offense didn’t capitalize. That’s why we aren’t in this game because they didn’t take their opportunity. If Clay scores that TD this is a different game.
