Can Kaelin Clay step up and be a factor?

I was all for moving on from Ginn BUT I also was under the impression we would be signing a WR not Russell Shepard

I set the bar a little higher than Ginn

Shame on me

I honestly think that was all ego from Gettleman. He wanted to prove he could strike gold again replacing known talent with unproven talent on the cheap. It backfired on him twice with Ginn. Twice. Yet he's a guru who is going to build the Giants into a dynasty again? Pleeeeeaase.

No shame. I was the same way. I guess we were stupid in thinking that Gettleman would actually sign someone worth a damn to replace him, even though we knew Gettleman's history.

Yeah that was my biggest issue with Gettleman, his own ego.

Just like the whole Josh situation, he truly believed he could replace him through the draft.

This whole “Gettleman is the goat of identifying talent” thing is mind boggling. If you look at his drafts they’re far from good. Add in the fact that talent evaluating was supposed to be “his thing”... we’re left where we are now, year 7 and still asking Cam to do everything.

Either you will go on the road as the next Hollywood medium or realize your cartoon dream was from a bad acid trip.

hopefully a bad acid trip. Keep Pounding—

Lol I knew the dream was bogus when the Panthers were going to opposite direction. I'm the dream, they were going from left to right in the 4th quarter, as far as endzones are concerned.

Now, I did dream last night. I couldn't see the game because it comes on very late here. The number 26 is always prevelant...and we lost to NO much like my dream predicted in ATL.

Ive never dropped acid.

This team needs to stop with the cinderella story wide receivers that no one else in the league wants.    It's funny that some fans get so excited for a team that has really never developed a WR in its history.     Smith was self-made and lightning in a bottle luck pick, and Moose was good from the get go.     KB was KB throughout.    Funchess is the about the ONLY example of slight progress but he's still a #2 or #3.

We need to trade a real #1, or sign a real #1.    No excuses.

Much as that dropped td hurt he did make a beautiful contested catch while dragging his feet later in the game, guy needs time to develop and he could be something, he drawed mutiple flags also, plead his case more than funchess on a pi call

Yeah, young, raw guy who has speed and can actually use it get open down field.  Has shown he can get open, needs to work on his hands but has shown some flashes. He is a good ST player and can be deadly returning. He actually sounds like Ginn at the start of his career. I see no issue with keeping him on as a ST player and WR # 4/5, used mostly to keep speed on the field when Samuel and/or Byrd have to come off the field. Y'all are so ready to get rid of everyone. A young kid with decent potential, lets see if he works on his hands and comes ready for training camp. I'll be rooting for him, if he does well, we do well.
