Can Kaelin Clay step up and be a factor?

Yeah... could you imagine having to watch the Saints play the Falcons in the NFC Championship game... damn that would be brutal.

I honestly wouldn’t watch

Well in that case I’m a Patriots fan— 28-3 bastards.

Had an extremely vivid and clear dream last night of a 70 yard TD to him stunning the Aints. It’s happening.

Weird. I had a dream a few nights before the ATL game. The panthers were in ATL, white uniforms and all. The Panthers lost on a drive they could not complete and the announcer vividly said "a field goal will do them no good here". Then Cam had a super meltdown like Jameis Winston.

My usually prophetic dreams were busted that one lol.

Either you will go on the road as the next Hollywood medium or realize your cartoon dream was from a bad acid trip.

hopefully a bad acid trip. Keep Pounding—

Doubt it. All Clay has is straightline speed and has bad hands and is a terrible route runner, hence why he would only be a PR if the WRs weren't decimated by injuries. I guess it is possible that the Saints pull a Patriots from week 4 and blow coverage assignments 4-5 times today and give Clay a big play, but otherwise I would be surprised if he gets any more than 1 catch

Lattimore is going to be on Funchess so his targets are going to be limited.

Clay has now two full weeks of practice with the starters.   I know he had a pretty decent preseason and made the original cut so they saw potential.

He was traded and waive and we snatched him back up pretty quickly so we definitely still had an interest in him.

I truly believe this is the key to the whole game.  If he can make them pay for stacking the box we might just pull it off and beat the Saints.   I know there is a ton of pessimism but he made some key plays in the Tampa game late to help us win so he has the skill to play.

Thoughts?

Drop number 1 in the end zone on a perfect throw.

Shocker

He's quick enough to get open but he's had a few bad drops when Cam throws it his way. He can have a big impact if he actually catches the ball.

Called this one earlier, wish that wasn't the case.
