No, the coaches need to change and so does this weak ass offense that's consistently hasn't been top 10 in scoring since Mike Shula took over

If we were Cincy fans you'll be defending Marvin Lewis extension

One question. When have we ever been consistently in the top 10 or were built around the offense instead of the defense? Truth is our scoring ranking has been best under Shula compared to any other coordinator. Would I love number 1 every year? Heck yeah but so do 31 other teams. The same lack of weapons everyone says Cam has is the same lack Shula has.  If Cam gets a pass then so does Shula. You can't have it both ways.

The fact that the OL struggles and we don't have any receivers getting open doesn't matter to you old dinosaurs who just want a nice clean cut white boy playing QB.

Why make racist statements? No one connected these dots but you.

It’s the preposterous notion that has been created by either race baiters on blind Cam lovers that no one who isn’t a racist can suggest Cam has any flaws. Truth is Cam can be the best QB one week and one of the worse the next. No player has a bigger gap between his floor and ceiling, it’s obvious inconsistency.

If this were to happen, we should offer Wade Wilson a contract immediately.

I'd at least call Norv Turner.  Lord knows we've got plenty of Turner family on staff.

That said, I'd be happy with Wilson.  He's only 58 and Norv is 65.

Ken Dorsey is 36.

Fire Dorsey, hire Wilson. Fire Shula, hire Turner. Boom, instant improvement.

But yet how can you keep on defending the coaches that have been holding back this offense including Cam? You say one thing, but do another. You criticize Cam and keep defending the coaches. What you say you are and what you're actually doing doesn't add up. You've always defended coaching even before the Rivera era. I just don't get it.

That is the point isn't it? Cam supporters say Shula and Dorsey. Cam critics say it is Cam. Those of us who have a clue and no ax to grind realize that they are tied at the hip and Shula built this offense around Cam and what he does well and not what he struggles with. You can't blame one without the other. They both work on the gameplan all week long and Cam gets all the input he wants. The only thing that is totally up to Cam is how he executes and mechanics are part of that.

As for why I defend Shula and Rivera along with all the other players and front.office when I feel the criticisms are unfair and inaccurate, I am a Panther fan and have done that since 1995 and will likely do it again in the future. Having played and coached at a much lower level I am sensitive to random criticism from folks who typically have much less idea about what is going on then they think they do. So I respond. Guilty as charged.....

Dorsey never coached anywhere at any level before we hired him. At least when we hired Shula as the QB coach he had some kind of background in coaching.

He worked at IMG where Newton trained, and he was teammates with Derek Anderson in Cleveland.  I'm guessing those connections got him the gig. I can't really find anything else that would have stood out on his resume' at the time.  The Panthers gig was indeed his first NFL coaching job.

Why is Shurmur interested?  I don't know of any connection between the two so I'd guess it's because of Newton.

So the terrible Ken Dorsey everyone thinks is crap might be wanted elsewhere. Maybe just maybe Cam's problems aren't due to coaching. When will we see changes? When Cam does and practices what he has been told to do since he came into the league. Mechanics are the players responsibility once the problems have become known and he has been told what to do to fix them. After that it is up to the player to take the advice and fix it.

Cam has more TDs this season than any other NFC south QB, but yeah.

We finished with a top 10 scoring offense in both years under Chud. Shula been here 5 with 1 year in top 10

Yeah we had Steve Smith, but we had a raw QB still learning and despite his mistakes we still finished top 10. What was the weapons in 2015? We finished top 10 that year. What does Shula need, every top offensive free agent to put together a successful offense? If that's all we need what the hell are the Panthers paying him for

And please explain to me how with a number 1 receiver Shula offense still suck but without a number 1 is better? We had Steve in 2013 and it sucked. Steve leaves and post numbers with Ravens. How in 2014 our offense sucks again despite drafting a young healthy KB. He out we do better he come back and we suck again. Let's take Cam out of this and talk about the run game. You can't blame Cam on that so what's the excuse on that? Stew old? CMC not good enough? The offensive line not good enough?

it's going to be comical when shula's here 20 years later and no one still wants to offer him any job elsewhere.

Its pretty telling

Last time University of Alabama didnt have a 1st round pick- Shula was the HC

OC of the leagues #1 offense that led the team to a 15-1 record and superbowl appearance.  And didnt even receive a phone call
