My opinion regarding some of the character attacks on Cam Newton related to work ethic and leadership is that some, not all, some, are rooted in a form of racism or stereotyping. Certain people have expected conformities surrounding the quarterback position. Some of those are kind of reasonable, others are thinly veiled ignorance, like nitpicking celebrations to the point of being deeply upset for instance. Whatever kind of disagreements that I might have with other posters is for another discussion. You're throwing everything but the kitchen sink at me here so considering we've interacted maybe one time before this, I'm going to assume that the fact you take this so personally seems to indicate you don't take kindly to racial discussions. And that's fine, but you initiated here. Just remember that.

So I don’t take kindly to racial discussions and yet you just said that I initiated one? You just contradicted yourself in the next sentence. I love discussions of all kind, but you don’t appear to be interested in engaging in one. If you were, then you would address my actual posts instead of saying things like “I’m not going to respond to anything in that long rant”. Instead, you choose to make presumptions about my character based on you reading into what you think that I’m saying...but wildly missing the point. Ad Hominems are not conducive to healthy discussion FYI...you need to change your approach if you do actually want discussion.

You say I’m “throwing everything but the kitchen sink” at you but I’m the one who is defensive and taking things personally? Huh? You haven’t said anything that would warrant me being defensive. I thought I was trying to spin you as a “reverse racist” or something...am I on the defensive or offensive here?
