If our offense could only get it right we could be looking at 6-3.

If our offense decides to stop giving up the ball and at least just run it HALF way decently then we could be looking at 6-3. Yes I have us beating the Saints because our defense is capable of stopping Brees, even if he does have Colsten. Its just our offense that has been slaughtering us this year with supreme inefficiency even in great situations (an INT we got at ATL that upt our offense near the 50 yard line lead to a turnover and an ATL score). Oh, and I see Hollis Thomas being enough of a run-stopper to bring our run defense up to snuff.

Our defense is currently ranked 15 overall, #2 at stopping the pass (remember our hardships in that category last year?), BUT #30 at stopping the run. If we tighten up the run defense to AT least middle of the pack our defense would be one of the best in the league.

TL;DR version: I'm not basing the prediction off of the redskins game but on our defensive stats and offensive turnover all season.

EDIT: scratch that 7-3, just saw we play the dolphins after Falcons. Jets, I'm not to sure about. But at worst we should be 6-4 after the Dolphins game.... Edit #2: if the offense can get a hold of its turnovers...

I understand what the OP is saying.

With the talent we have on this team, we should be in every game we play. The offense was clicking at the end of last season (especially the run game). Get that back, and we could definitely make a run. Not saying that we will.

I remember all of the experts and nay-sayers saying that we would falter down the stretch of the reg season last year. The schedule was too hard....we weren't that good. However, we strapped them on and finished strong.

We are not like the Rams, Lions, Raiders, Bucs....teams that do not have the talent.

We are a talented team that is struggling. It can turnaround on a dime.

Yeah, I'm really liking the potential of this defense. Our LB corps is elite, and our secondary is as solid as they come. If we can continue to generate pressure and begin to stop the run a little bit better, this can be a top ten defense. With that said, we have got to get this running game going.

See this is where it gets tricky, the Saints are 2nd in the league in rushing and our interior line would literally eat your DTs alive. It's pick your poison.

Your chosen son Jake,is like 9-1 or 9-2 against you bums when he starts against you.So beating the saints is like trying not to touch JLO's but when you hug her
