Lamar Jackson Has Declared for The NFL Draft

The 2016 Hiesmann winner has declared for the NFL draft. That Makes Jackson, Rosen, Darnold, Allen all declared? And Mayfield is a senior so he'll be in as well. Thats alot of QBs that should push some talent down towards us

He looks skinny as fug heres to hoping he wont get injured and stay healthy in the NFL. Where do you think he ends up going. We're going to have 2 hiesmann winning QBs in the same draft, not sure if that happens very often. Also Desean Watson , Carson Wentz , Aaron Rodgers coming back next year, if all the QBs manage to stay healthy it could be a great season.

Heres some teams that will likely be looking for QBs

• Browns (have 2 first rounders)
• Giants
• Broncos
• Jets
• Redskins
• Chargers
• Cardinals
• Bills (have 2 first rounders)
• Steelers
• Patriots

 

Its hard to see Gettleman drafting a QB other than Rosen . I think Browns have no reason to trade down and will take either Rosen or Darnold #1 overall. I doubt the Broncos will take him.

I think his most likely destinations are New York Jets, and Buffalo Bills.  Would not be suprised to see Buffalo trade their 2 1st rounders to snag Jackson, hes a taller more explosive Tyrod. 

You also have to factor in Kirk Cousins is going to one of these teams.  Probably Broncos . 

If any of the QBs drift almost all the way to the end the Patriots will take him without hesitation since Garrapolo and Brissett are gone.

Also at the same time.  A talented QB will be around late where they could trade the house with a team trying to jump back up and snag him

All of those Qbs along with Mayfield and maybe even Ruldoph if declares will be 1st rounders. 

Now, we will get our WR or safety.

Exciting player but he's truly a mini Cam and I think the size difference will be his undoing in the NFL.

He's RG3 pt 2 talent wise.  Lets just hope for his sake he holds up better and doesnt have the injuries

He's 6'3 211, he can gain like 10 pounds and still probably run a 4.4. He already runs a 4.34.

Mistake...he may do well in the NFL but if he would've stayed his senior year his draft stock & money would be much more.  This is a deep QB draft.  He would also position himself as the first person to win the Heisman twice since Archie.

I've only seen highlights but his scouting reports are basically identical to Cam's outside of the size. Mobile threat, cannon arm with good deep ball, questionable decision making and accuracy across the middle. RG3 was hyped as a field general who was also a running threat.

Think Lamar is a little closer to 215 now than his listed 211.  So he easily will probably try to bulk to 220 for the combine.

There's no comparison to Cam do just stop it. As an ACC fan I've watched him play a ton. He's a lot closer to The Golden Calf of Bristol as a passer than he is Cam.
