Time to sound off.... Panthers at Saints Predictions

Panthers 23

Saints 31

Cam looks good but Panthers falter in red zone, settling for 3 field goals since Cam can’t throw it to himself and the run game, outside of Cam, is non-existent. Brees & Co don’t have that problem, running tough and getting more TDS than FGs. I hate my honesty here and hope to God I’m all wrong.

If you sit there and predict that we'll lose go post on the Saints board and get rid of your Panther gear. We don't need our own fanbase bashing the team. The wine and cheese crowd along with the fair weather fans should leave with JR.

Easy Joey...predicting a Panthers loss doesn’t mean I’m not a fan, it just means I see things unfolding differently than you. I WANT the Panthers to win, but I just don’t feel good that it’ll happen.

Panthers 24, Saints 20. Kuechly with a virtuoso performance to slow the 2-headed monster, with a pick-6 thrown in to boot. Cam rushes for one and passes for another.

I could see this happening. How confident are you against LA?

Jekyll/Hyde sort of thing --  if the offense clicks (specifically, executes in and around the red zone) against a mediocre Rams defense, I think the Falcons win. The defense has been pretty good over the past few weeks and should be good for a stop or two if they're semi-rested. That said, the team's been misfiring all year and it depends on which Falcons show up, on both sides of the ball. Night game on the West coast doesn't bode well for an appearance for Dr. Jekyll, though. Don't think Ryan has ever won a playoff game away from ATL before, but even so I like his playoff experience in the game and would still probably take him over Goff for now. Matchup-wise, slowing Gurley will be key, and Aaron Donald against our banged up interior OL is a nightmare. Hope Mack and Co. iced up!

Tl;dr: I think we win 31-27 or so, but we could be in for a LONG day if the offense isn't converting and/or the defense can't get off the field. So to your question, not super confident.

Haven't watched the Rams a ton but I think their D is underrated. I think they and the Vikings are the most complete teams, and quite a bit ahead of the rest of the field. Where all of the NFC South has an advantage is playoff experience. If y'all win I think that'll be the difference.

Yeah I just checked DVOA and they're top ten. Not good news, but their rush D is #22 so hopefully Freeman has a day.
