It is a crying shame we have so many Debbie doubters.  This team is 11-5 and outside of the Bears game we haven't lost to someone we couldn't beat.  I don't think the Saints can say the same thing.  We will give them the business on Sunday.

Every bad game Cam has had he has come out and had a great to stellar game.

Cam has his best game of the year and we control the clock and the game.

Down 17-14 with 4 minutes to go.  Cam metriculates (see Hank Stram 1969 KC Chiefs) down the field and we score a TD (similiarly to TB game) with little to no time left.

Pepper's sack Brees for the final time as Brees goes for the hail Mary.

Panther's win 21-17

The only way we win this game is if it follows the NE, Detroit, GB pattern.  We need to be up by at least a TD to begin the 4th quarter to have a chance.  Then, we let the Saints back in it, but the defense holds on in the end and we come out of there on top 27-20.

CP   3  7   10   7   27

NO  7  0    3   10  20

Kamara is less successful than people expect, but still gets a 30+ yard receiving TD.  MCM features prominently with 2 TDs.  Brees is consistent,  but the Saints turn the ball over twice and settle for 2 FGs in the red zone.  Cam has a decent game passing and several critical 3rd down conversions.  Olsen catches 8 passes including a TD.

We have beaten teams at least as good as NO this season. However, we have not beaten NO.  We could get a beat down, but after last week's poor showing, I expect a higher level of focus.  Even if we don't have a perfect game, we are good enough to keep it close unless we have inexplicable bad fortune like boneheaded turnovers or bad calls by the officials.

This is a good football team that deserves to be in the playoffs.  I'm not going to write them off.

Also, we beat the Saints and we will have a very good chance against our next opponent (Philly most likely).  Then on to play our first of two consecutive games in Minnesota.

It the Saints score more than 14 pts the Panthers will lose.  RR has to channel Nick Saban to get the D to perform at that level.  The number should be 14....anything above that I'm afraid is going to be to much for the offense to overcome.

Panthers 35

Saints 17

If you sit there and predict that we'll lose go post on the Saints board and get rid of your Panther gear. We don't need our own fanbase bashing the team. The wine and cheese crowd along with the fair weather fans should leave with JR.

Had a dream last night the final was 24-17 Saints. Rivera opted to punt from the Saints 48 with 4 minutes left. Saints got the ball at their own 17 and ran out the clock. Panthers couldn't get key stops twice on 3rd down to get the ball back.

Last time I had such a vivid sports dream was when South Carolina beat Duke in the NCAA tournament. The final score in my dream was only 1 point off from the real score...

It's good to have dreams. Carolina will win.
