How about we let a few seasons go by before making declarations on who is an all star and who is a bust. Plenty of players have done magnificent their rookie seasons and then gone on to be average or complete trash (RG3, Matt Kalil, and many others) and on the flip side of the equation many players have started slow or average and gone on to excel (Josh Norman is a name that comes to mind).

As it stands Kamara might seem to be the better choice but the question is, can he sustain that success past his rookie season. Evaluation takes time and a single season is most definitely not enough especially for rookies.

I would definately take Kamara, but to be honest I would rather have taken a healthy Dalvin cook. To bad our organization constantly discriminates against anyone with a shaky past.

I started to ask what difference him being white makes...  But I'm not in denial.

Anyway, who could have known Kamara would turn into what he has?  At UT he was a backup.  He played because Jalen Hurd quit the team.  Sometimes the game doesn't translate, and sometimes people are much better NFL players than they were college players.  That might just be what has happened here.

Kamara doesn't need to be on offense to produce.....he's effective on special teams as well, unlike mccaffery. You're right that the saints do have the better qb and offensive though.
