So...say goodbye to our 2019 first rounder then.

Well, if we’ve done our due diligence and determine him a damn near perfect fit, then I wouldn’t be mad at it.

Weve needed a receiver like Ridley for the longest. Gotta go out and get what you want, and if it’s a first next year then so be it

I'm used to Hurney drafts producing only one good player, so if he trades away a bunch of picks to move up, I might not mind that much.

Ridley

Funchess

Byrd

Samuel

Do it, hurney

Now, that’s a stable of WRs and it places Funchess where he needs to be; as the 2 or 3. I don’t trust Byrd or Samuel to stay healthy, so I’d probably still get a guy in FA but that’s a good looking group. Ridley elevates that group

Does he last to the 20s?

Maybe?

Right now all the WRs are being graded as late firsts with Ridley having the most hype but Combine probably means the most for WRs and CBs.

I don't expect Ridley to have a bad a combine, he'll probably have a very good one, but I'm expecting Sutton and ESB to have equally good if not better ones and I can very much see ESB hopping Ridley, and even Sutton possibly.

Plus this is a hellllla deep class at DE and QB. There's some "can't miss" prospects like Barkley and Fitzpatrick and the WR class being a big "eh" right now, pre combine I can see Ridley lasting til the 20s.

Not gonna mention any specific names just yet, but I'd be happy with OT, S, CB, or DE in the 1st. I'd prefer addressing WR in FA considering what this WR FA class is likely to look like. I'd prefer grabbing a power RB to pair with CMC in the mid-rounds.

Hell yeah. Plus figure between bird and Samuel we have 2 young guys that have shown flashes IF they can stay healthy( hopefully at least one can). Funchess is still young....Seems like what we're missing is a vet that we know can make a big play and can help the young receiver room. It'll cost to bring a proven guy but I'm tired of the " hey we only need one really good receiver theory. Time to give Cam some proven guys instead of hey better lift up a bunch of 3rd stringers  or you  suck.
