2017 Panthers regular season the best ever?

From a quality wins point of view?

wins versus Winning teams this season:

Patriots (13-3)

Bills (9-7)

Vikings (13-3)

Falcons (10-6)

Lions(9-7) - only team not in the Playoffs

I honestly Can’t remember a regular season that even comes Close to this. Especially the Vikings and Patriots wins.

The best ever Panthers regular season was 2015. There's no argument to be made otherwise without a ridiculous amount of spinning and stretching.

if we somehow win the superbowl, my brain is going to cut out the entire panthers’ history from superbowl 50 to superbowl 52, and i will remember it as a continuation of the season after the NFCCG

Not even close to the best regular season and I'd say the 2013 victories over SF, NE, and the Saints (Week 16) were more significant in terms of 'quality'.

0-1 vs bears

if we beat the saints...i'm all on the hype train. right now...meh. we'll see.

The only way this season will have any relevance is if we win  Super Bowl 52 

Its not even special that its a winning season, given that it followed a losing season, which is just a continuation of the trend of mediocrity of the franchise.

If we follow the 23 year old trend then we go 8-8 at best next year. If we have a winning season next year then thats actually very meaningful

By a record standpoint yes, but from a quality of wins stand point? No

Declaring a season to be great based on quality of wins is a lot like judging how good a game was based on time of possession.

There is something to be said for it, our road wasn’t easy by a long stretch and still fought our way in.

Dont want us raising a banner or something, more or less just thought it to be interesting.

seriously though, know of a season that we have had a better record against winning teams? I don’t think we have
