You do know the first 15 plays of the game are usually pre determined? Those wrong reads are hot reads designed by the coaching staff

 

The first play itself was a short flat route to Mccaffrey that got covered up quickly, the slant your talking about was on the other side of the field, which was Cam 4th option on that play since QB don’t scan from sideline to sideline 

 

Your calling a pass interference a bad read, and dropped ball by Clay a bad read LOL

 Oh and it was 3rd and long on those deep drags and you wanted him to check it down LOL

Cam can hit those short passes but not on a consistent basis like a Brees or Brady cause that’s not his strength. You build around your QB strengths not what some random fan in a forum wants. I take it you didn’t see the 2015 season? Or even Cam’s first season? You do know in 2015 we were near the bottom in short passes completed  again, but long passes down field make up for any checkdown miscues.

One of the primary problems is lack of a reliable running attack.  We haven't invested in a quality every down back in a decade.  I am not sure why that guy is breaking down plays like an O coordinator, if you get open, most times, Cam will get you the ball.  However, the lackluster running attack makes the Panthers almost one-dimensional.  The offense is built to run, not dink and dunk.
