I’ve read ppl on social media defend him...how? His resume says it all.

Eh, I think there are times when he does an okay job. The totality of his tenure here, however.....ugh.

I think I can definitely say that I hate him less than I did initially but I do still want to move on. It would be great to get a consistent top shelf OC on board.

Yep, that too. It's getting WAY out of hand.

All you Cam apologists realize the C in Carolina Huddle is for Carolina not Cam Right??  It’s not getting out of hand just most people are coming to the realization that he is definitely part of the problem

Bottom line is everyone has to be better next week, starting with Shula.  And Cam, who objectively speaking had one of (if not the worst) game of his career.  And the offensive line (Silatolu was a disaster).  And receivers not getting open.  And Greg Olsen not being on the same page with Cam.  And CMC not dropping balls.

There was so much that was bad on offense last game it's not fair to lay the blame on any one person.  Shula is absolutely right about that.

And the constant bitching isn't going to change the fact Shula will be calling the plays this coming weekend.  It feels like some people would rather the team fail just so they can say "I told you so."  I certainly don't- I would hope Panther fans feel the same way.

Going to playoffs is never a guarantee.  We have been 4 of the last 5 years.  That is nowhere near bad or even mediocrity.

This is the best stretch as a franchise we have ever had.  We aren't the Patriots or Steelers, but we're not the Browns, either.

Rivera is a top 10 coach at this point in my honest opinion.  He is not perfect, but he is so much better than some people on here want to believe.  The NFL is the most competitive professional sports league in the country, and we have been overall well above average during his tenure.  He is by far the best coach we have had in franchise history.

That being said, I understand like everyone the frustration with his loyalty with Shula.  But at the same time, Shula is not this hemorrhaging pile of incompetence that some people claim, either.

No game plan was going to matter last week as off as Cam was.  That's the truth, and I'm a huge Cam homer.

Anyway, I didn't see anything wrong with what Shula said.  He has to own yesterday's failure as much as anyone.

Everyone needs to be on to New Orleans.  And we need a better performance from everyone from the top down on offense to have a chance.
