Am I the only one who thinks yesterday’s loss could be a good thing?

The media is going to be calling us trash all week and are going to completely dismiss us from beating the Saints. This belittlement is only going to motivate Cam and everyone knows he plays best when he’s pissed off.

If we had steam rolled the Falcons everyone would be praising us and our team would have no animosity to fuel from.

Also, I really don’t think the fact we have to play in New Orleans is going to have much of an effect on the outcome of this game. We have a 24-22 record all time vs the Saints with a 12-11 record both Home and Away.

This team is the epitome of being Jekyll or Hyde. We could beat anybody at any given time but we could also just as easily lose to anyone.

Two of our five losses were basically us beating ourselves. The Bears and the Falcons (yesterday) were cases where we just came out and made fools of ourselves on offense. Cam had lousy days and everyone collapsed around him (except for the defenses both times).

The other three (Saints, Eagles, Saints) were against top tier teams and we were toe-to-toe with the Eagles until the very end.

I hope this embarassing outing will get them knocked back on track, because you are right, we can beat just about anyone. Now it's time to do just that.

The poor showing against TB was supposed to be the wake up call and a good thing... Another terrible loss with bad momentum going into the playoffs AND blowing the chance at the division and a home game to kick it off is not a good thing... We are by no means out of it and I'm sure we won't roll over against the Aints -- it'll be competitive -- but yesterday gave us some serious cause for concern.

The Saints are very good but let's not forget they just lost to the Bucs with playoff positioning on the line similarly to how we lost to Atlanta.

This is going to be a serious grudge match. But only if our run game shows up. Otherwise expect more of the same, and Cam Newton taking all the blame.

There is literally nothing good about having to play the Saints on the road next week instead of the Falcons at home.

A demon is on one shoulder and an angel is on the other.  I don't know which is which.

Both good points though.
