Sad admission from Cam

I didn't even see any contested catches that were not made today.  I saw either bad throws, no one open, or, at times, bad offensive line play.  This is a talent issue that no amount of motivation or coaching can fix.  I'm pretty sure that David Gettis could walk on to this roster right now and be the #2 receiver.

How many times has cmc gotten open and cam has either ignored him or zipped it over his head or behind him??

Honestly feel for the guy. His wonder years are essentially being wasted here. For christs sakes look who was trotted on the field yesterday as his "weapons" then you have CMC being a tryhard styling with his one handed catches.

Cam hit McCaffery right in the hands TWICE yesterday and he flat out dropped both of them.

If you don’t know what you’re watching on Sundays (clearly you don’t) maybe just stand on the sidelines and lurk.

Too many here act as if Cam needing to pick up every single yard this team gets is going to have no bearing on other parts of his game. Like Cam isn’t going to get tired or Cam knows he needs to fit the ball into these imaginary windows because he’s WR’s suck.

Yesterday on the TD drive I believe, Cam turned and gave the ball to CAP two times in a row. 2 & 1 for no gain and then 3rd & 1 for no gain. Cam is then forced to go plow ahead to pick up the 1st on 4th down. Do you not realize how damn pathetic that is? So instead of being able to conserve his energy like almost any other QB does in this situation, Cam has to go pick up the yard himself and take a hit.

So now this Sunday Cam will be sent into the dome where he’ll be asked to score 30 points with Bersin, Clay, Shepard and Frazier at WR! Plus a guy we spent the 8th overall pick on who has been really bad this last month... But let’s blame Cam next Monday because “Cam does more with less”...

I’m not just talking about yesterday He has missed cmc so often this year cmc has maybe 4 drops and 80 catches and I don’t understand why gets just 6 carries a game

How does CMC getting “6 carries a game” have anything to do with Cam?

Cam targets McCaffrey more than enough and as this season has gone on McCaffery has struggled to get open. Take last weeks Tampa game on 3rd down for example. Sent CMC out wide and has the number 1 option he couldn’t shake the defender and we were forced to punt.

Remember when everyone was drooling over CMC because no body could tag him in the non padded, non tackling practice drills... those were funny times...

My point about the low number of carries is he can be a big help to cam and the team with more carries/touches. Just imagine how much whining you’d hear from fournette or Elliot if they were given just 6 carries per game

McCaffery gets enough chances to do something with the ball in his hands and doesn’t do poo, he doesn’t need more

Well he almost the same rushing avg as fournette but they give 20 plus carries in about ten game he averaged close to 3 yards per carry

And Fozzy Whitaker averages more yards per catch than McCaffery but only has 5 catches... should we start building a game plan around Fozzy as a WR?

McCaffery hasn’t done anything to help take the load off of Cam and that was thinking when we spent the 8th freaking overall pick on him.

I remember Jake Delohme taking a 2005 team to the NFC Championship game with no running backs and 1 reciever. Id say the talent level was a little less on that team. Time to suck it up Cam.

That one receiver was a prime Steve Smith
