The game opened at NO -4 quickly moved to NO -6. Car pays +220 to win. Car is 5-3 Away. NO is 7-1 Home. 

This game feels like it boils down to the usual for Car games: Car 28th-ranked passing attack vs NO 15th-ranked passing defense. NO 5th-ranked passing attack vs Car 18th-ranked passing defense. Car 4th-ranked rushing attack vs NO 16th-ranked rushing defense.

Car passing game must over-perform on both sides. NO run game must over-perform on defense.

Car must limit INTs. NO must limit Fumbles. 

Car is the least penalized team in NFL. NO is 16th in penalties.

Newton played perhaps the worst game of his career today. Awful 14-34, 3INTs won't win games against worst of teams, def not against defending Conference champ playing at home to make playoffs. Newton is one of the poorest throwers of the football in NFL but today was especially bad. Lack of Run game today affected passing game...Car must generate Run game in order for any hope in Pass game. 

NO played poor game at TB. TB was 13-18 on 3rd down, NO not going far if they give up that rate in playoffs. NO 15th-ranked pass defense gave up 363yds to Winston with 3 INTs. Feast or famine pass defense. Kamara finished with 1426 total yards evenly split Rush/Pass as rookie.

As an aside to trivial facts about football teams, I failed to note for the X-Files fans out there, the Rams openly chose to take the Car-Phi route instead of the Atl-Min route by conceding today's game. However, NO vetoed that decision by giving up a Punt Return TD and then doubling down by giving up a last second bomb TD today...fun stuff to think about as the New Yr arrives...

From what I have seen from the team the past 3 weeks, no. The NO offense will pick apart our defense and I don't think Cam, sadly, can win 1 vs 11 on offense. If we do win, it will be a small miracle.

At least there's familiarity with N.O, going to L.A on a Saturday to play a Wade Phillips led defense would be overkill.
