and he's been really bad so far.

right now, he's a bad defensive coordinator. no sugarcoating it. doesn't learn from the fact that slot blitzing on every third down will get you creamed by any QB or offense with a brain.

Well the question is are you willing to give up on him after one year. If you are, then you better be accepting of CMC criticism of anyone else who’s been here a year. Otherwise, your looking a hypocrite in the eyes of myself and many others

I mean obviously keep him because he probably could get better. But hope that a team poaches him to be head coach and we snag one of the good DCs likely to be on the market.

We played 10 yards off in the secondary and brought the kitchen sink on every down.

They do this damn near every game and I have been screaming about it for the past several years. ESPCIALLY when they have the lead paying prevent defense.

That is not likely, but if that’s what you want *shrugs*. So, do you think CMC or any of our other rookies “probably” get better? Do you think we should be looking to upgrade them?

What I don’t understand is how you show blitz, drop back the LBs into coverage, and there are still 10 guys open downfield, or so it seems. I realize this is hyperbole, but you know what I mean. The point of dropping into coverage is to make it very tough to find an open receiver. Instead, it becomes tough to find a receiver who isn’t open.

I think along with Mcdermott, the Panthers need better talent in the secondary so they won't have to resort to so much zone coverage. It's not a coincidence we clamped down defensively at the end of 2014 into 2015 cause we had Norman and Bene. They allowed our safeties to roam and mix up coverage

Our pass rush was better without CJ and we can do better than today rushing the passer

I've been calling for Ron to takeover the defense for years.

Well McDermott got his team in the playoffs his first try and that's fugin Buffalo...

I think he's fine we just need to stop having our WRs 15 yards back for real...that's literally the problem there...the dump offs are easy because the cushion.

Also...our fugin offense is the problem not the D...we Held that team with that offense to 22 points and barely squirted out a water poo of 10 points...fug that its Shula POS bitch ass and hte offense that's the problem.
