Welp.... What are the chances we win a playoff game?

Not here to mouth off — I’ve been on vacation and didn’t talk smack prior to the result [save for a predicting a win a month+  out], so any gloating now would be rather gauche — just wanted to give my thoughts on next weekend’s all-NFCS tilt. The Saints are 100% beatable, even with the Panthers seemingly misfiring. They only beat us by 10 in a game where we looked like the Browns (incl. 0 points in two trips inside the 5), handed us a game in which Matt Ryan played like Brandon Weeden, and then proceeded to lose to TB with the division potentially on the line. Add that it’s tough to beat a team 3x, and I think it’s a coin flip in New Orleans.

Happy New Years to all, by the way.

Not even getting worked up over it. The draft pick position will be better at least. We need more talent at key positions Just in case anybody havent notice we are not getting anything significant out of our draft picks from the last couple seasons.

Big reason why this team is relying on vets to stay relevant now.

Calling it now: we beat the Saints by 10, then beat the Eagles in a divisional round blowout before losing to the Vikings in the NFC Championship.

The Vikings then go on to lose the Super Bowl in their home stadium to a familiar big game opponent: the Pittsburgh Steelers.

WILD CARD: Chiefs 23, Titans 16

WILD CARD: Rams 27, Falcons 24

WILD CARD: Jaguars 22, Bills 9

WILD CARD: Panthers 30, Saints 20

DIVISIONAL: Steelers 26, Jaguars 13

DIVISIONAL: Vikings 26, Rams 20

DIVISIONAL: Patriots 38, Chiefs 23

DIVISIONAL: Panthers 31, Eagles 16

AFC CHAMPIONSHIP: Steelers 30, Patriots 26

NFC CHAMPIONSHIP: Vikings 24, Panthers 16

SUPER BOWL LII: Steelers 29, Vikings 16

Only beat you by 10? It was 23-6 when you scored your garbage time TD with 3 minutes left lol. Saints played soft zone all the way down the field.

The only positive ( besides that one drive ) I can take from this game is that we kept the Seahawks out of the playoffs....no...wait...they did that to themselves!  Nevermind.  Are you seriously asking if we beat the 'Taints in the Dome?  ROTFLMFAO.  We win if the Saints beat themselves...bottom line.

I'm being optimistic but ya know it would be really nice to have Kelvin Benjamin about right now.

Wouldn't change a thing. What we really lack is speed at WR that isn't completely raw.

You know, like a certain speedy veteran we let walk in free agency that will be playing against us next week.

Considering how dysfunctional our offense has looked the past two weeks, that is a very likely outcome.

Honestly, we should have blown out the Bucs and beat the Falcons handily.  But we didn't.  We ran the ball poorly, Cam was super inaccurate, and we generally failed to move the ball at all.

This does not look like a team playing it's best ball.  The Saints can score too many ways, and we can't at all.  It would have to be an extremely motivated team to stand a chance against the Saints, if I'm being honest with myself.

Sure the Panthers COULD come out and make a run in the playoffs.  But I'm not sure we can at this point.  Our offense is such a mess as we are liable to get gashed when we get beat on a blitz.  I want to believe, but the Panthers haven't done anything to make me believe.

25% chance going into the game.

I say that because I believe it depends mostly on what Cam shows up. We got a 50% chance that the good Cam shows up. If he does show up, I give us a 50% chance to come away with the win. If he doesn’t show up, 0 percent chance.

Saints are a really good team. I’m still shaking my head at the guy who said Kamara wouldn’t be a factor in our last game. We are gonna need offense to beat NO, good Cam can keep us competitive.

I was at the dome last month. Very hard to win there

Like you said, we win of we force early turnovers and saints just come out and crap the bed
