Cam is the best QB we've ever had. I don't see anyone disputing that point. He's the only QB we've ever had to have an MVP-quality season. He was great that year. He earned it.

But you're ignoring reality if you don't see that the MVP season was outside the norm for Cam. Each of the past two years, he has been a bottom 10 starting QB, by practically every statistical measure ever invented. That's pretty much the definition of average.
