My pops was diagnosed with polyps that were cancerous.  He had surgery and is in the clear.  My wife freaked and even though Im not near 50 she made me get one.   Prepping the day before was a nuisance but the procedure itself s a non issue.   They found a couple polyps and removed them.  Waiting to here back if they were cancerous but the Dr was glad I came in and he caught them when he did rather than waiting.  

 

moral of the story:  if you have an immediate family member who's been diagnosed with it please get one done regardless of age.  It could save your life.
