What Falcons Fans Are Saying

I remember all of those guys. My old man was a Vikings fan (4x SB losses).  Roger Carr was great, still have his football cards. I remember Burt Jones and his Miller beer commercials. Cowboys beat Atlanta with Danny White that day, then they lost to Ron Jaworski and Eagles who got beat by Oakland 27-10 in SB. That Falcons team was a flash in the pan, sucked year before and afterwards. Best offense in NFL that year and blew it...

LOL on the Miller Commercials.....

Was Staubach injured?

Wasn't Atlanta in the NFC West?  LOL along with New Orleans?

Well we could gang up on the Bucs and Saints which sucks because the Falcons and Panthers are the better teams historically in our division with the Bucs/Saints being all time historically bad franchises.....they won their only SBs though and we've both lost two appearances :(

You do realize we both lost to Pats and Broncos in SB. When you look at the law of probability, that's pretty improbable and creepy. And consider this, in the Broncos losses they were both legends playing thier last game (Elway and Manning).

NFC West: Niners, Falcons, Rams, Saints - Made zero sense at all

I think Roger was injured or Danny taking over for good. I really can't recall.  Need to look into that one.

On side Note, Bruce Ariens just said he's done with football after today's game. Wouldn't surprise me if we lose, but Cardinals knock off Seahags for Bruce and we back in playoffs. That would be a Falcon thing to do.

Didn't realize this but there is a possibility that we play you again next week.

Panthers beat Falcons

Bucs beat Saints

Niners beat Rams

Cardinals beat Seahags

You may think this is improbable but things just got a little more interesting with Bruce Arians announcing retirement after last game. They at least come to play and it looks like desention in Seahags locker room with Michael Bennett again.

Bucs over Saints - I mean absolutely possible, that's why Panthers come hard today. Saints Bucs last game was bench clearing brawl if you remember. There will be blood.

Rams are tanking today. Forgone conclusion.

If this happens I'm flying down to Charlotte next week with the wife.

For that result, our game actually doesn't matter. If the Bucs and 9ers win, we play again in Charlotte next week regardless of our game today

@The Big Bartkowski actually I stand corrected. You guys would have to win today for the rematch next week if the Saints and Rams lose.

Roger. I was trying to use the playoffs simulator on ESPN.com. My buddy who's at the game today says the most Falcons thing to do is...lose today but back in playoffs, knock off Saints and then poo the bed vs Nick Folds. Can't disagree. What are your thoughts in Bulldawgs/Sooners? Mayfield scares me. Dawgs defense will be test for Mayfield. Need Chubb and crew to go completely off and dominate clock. Think Clemson Bama is a coin flip.
