Ah....maybe. Do I think the Falcons would be unstoppable with Cam? Probably.  Need to adjust the scheme a little but we have the big wideouts.

Ah crap stop being reasonable now I’m gonna have to go from hating your guts to semi-respecting the fact you have a functional brain.

Well we could gang up on the Bucs and Saints which sucks because the Falcons and Panthers are the better teams historically in our division with the Bucs/Saints being all time historically bad franchises.....they won their only SBs though and we've both lost two appearances :(

I was at the 1980 divisional playoff game vs. Dallas at Fulton county stadium.  My first game ever.  If you followed Bart and the Falcons back then, you know what happened. That was the big choke before the big choke.

I watched the game on tv from a hotel room in Virginia Beach (we were visiting my grandparents and my parents had an argument so Dad and I ended up at a motel). He knew I was a big Falcons fan and he watched the game with me and was as letdown as I was that the first playoff game I'd ever seen them play in was a loss. Just heartbreaking on many levels that night.

Years later I found out that we actually got screwed. On 3rd and 1 for Falcons with 2 min left, Randy White jumped into the nuetral zone and fell across Ed too tall Jones while Bart snapped the ball.  No flag.  Should have been off sides and end of game.  The following year the NFL implemented the nuetral zone infraction Because of that play.

Yeah I remember pulling for the Falcons back then.  I have always hated the Cowboys and I believe Staubach was still their QB.  I admired the Cowboys because they were always good.  Well until Danny White.

Atlanta wasn't much of a contender back in those days and since they were in the playoffs I had to pull for them.

My dad was from Baltimore so I was a Baltimore Colt fan from when I was a little guy (Also liked the Vikings because my first pee wee team was the Vikings)  We had Burt Jones.  The boy had a gun well before Elway came around.  Do you remember Roger Carr (EARS) he was probably their best receiver in the 80s.

When Baltimore left for Indy I was a fan without a team.   I followed the Giants because LT went to UNC and there was no way I was going to be a Skins fan.  Thankfully, god blessed the Carolina's with the Panthers and I have been a fan ever since.

I remember all of those guys. My old man was a Vikings fan (4x SB losses).  Roger Carr was great, still have his football cards. I remember Burt Jones and his Miller beer commercials. Cowboys beat Atlanta with Danny White that day, then they lost to Ron Jaworski and Eagles who got beat by Oakland 27-10 in SB. That Falcons team was a flash in the pan, sucked year before and afterwards. Best offense in NFL that year and blew it...
