Out of all the reassuring things I could have heard today, the fact that Alex Mack is not practicing is not among them. The Falcons badly need their star center for this upcoming final game against Carolina, but it now seems possible they won’t have him.

Dan Quinn has said Mack is questionable for Sunday’s tilt with the Panthers, and he wasn’t out there practicing during the portion of the day open to the media. The team also spent time with Ben Garland at center, another indication that they think there’s a legitimate chance Mack could be out.

kawann short right now.

Butler had a ridiculous move for a sack against the Bucs that was called back due to a phantom face mask call when he took James down. I think he's gonna blow up these playoffs for some reason.

He looked awesome in the preseason.  The cheap shot vs the Texans set him back, but I agree, watch out.

Yeah that was impressive. Big Vern is showing flashes of turning into a real force at DT

Out of practice 2 days... don't think so for Mack I'll be blitzing run up the middle on every 1st down

As this team is so good at scheming to exploit another teams weakness I'm sure it will result in a big advantage for us.

Not.
