From Bill Polian's wikipedia page

Seems like Bill Polian may not be that easy to work with.  Also the owner he "worked so closely with" in Indianapolis was a heavy drug addict and kind of a dickhead.  I don't think I'll lose any rest over what this mouth breathing idiot has to say.

Gonna let you in on a secret, almost all of the owners in the league are hard to deal with and have a heavy hand on their teams. That's kind of how they got there. These are 31 sons of bitches that fought and clawed their way to the top and expect their teams to be their version of the family pet.

(I leave out the Packers as a community-owned team.)

Go back and read what he said about Cam leading up the draft, it is dripping with antebellum racism.

First of all, we do not know for a fact that he was sued for anything race related, since supposedly there are [convenient] NDA's surrounding it. Second, what the fresh hell is "antebellum racism"? Richardson is old, but he was not alive before the War. He isn't capable of the type of racism you suggest because that would mean he literally owns slaves and beats them with whips for failing to pick literal cotton. If you believe that anything like that is going on in the present day, then you are drunk on SJW kool aid nonsense and we can't have a conversation because your views are not grounded in any form of reality.

Seems to be all that poster focuses on...   What a miserable way to live....

I mean... a few months back he literally admitted to being an ANTIFA member, a group now listed on the domestic terror watch list. He literally thinks violence against people you disagree with is an appropriate form of achieving societal change. I haven't respected him since. There are a lot of Huddlers i disagree with and a lot that disagree with me, but I have no patience for Rodeo.

Not saying he owns slaves but forced labour still occurs in America, Government knows about it and doesn't stop it. Hell they work on military bases, just go read the trafficking and forced labour report that the government releases. As far as his comments, nothing wrong with asking an employee to stay clean shaven and not get tattoos. See that all the time in handbooks.

I personally think way too much has always been made or the tattoo remark.  That is the type poo my mom and dad have said to me....because they come from a generation that didn’t put poo all over there body and simply don’t like it.

Well forced labor is exactly what you're signing up for when you volunteer for the military lmao. No sympathy for them. But anyone who thinks the NFL is anything like slave labor or forced labor is... misled. Lol. I would love to be paid millions of dollars to keep my mouth shut and play football. Just saying. Id call JR Mister all damn day, shine his shoes, and fuging chauffeur him wherever he'd want to go. Lol

Call me a sell out, that's fine. I'll count my millions listening to you. (Not you specifically CPF96) lol

Exactly. It's not a race thing at all. My grandparents and great grandparents would have died of heart attacks if I had come home with a piercing or tattoo

EDIT: and I'm pasty white

I don't doubt what he is saying at all.....Hurney survives because he is a yes man, which Polian and DG were not. As much as I hate the turmoil a sale could bring, even without the allegations against JR, it is time for the team to be sold to a new owner.

Richardson had similar personality conflicts with Polian and Gettleman alike.

Both of them did business like "northerners", Polian occasionally like a psycho (look up the chair throwing incident) and it never sat well with Richardson.

Of course, Polian and Gettleman both have Super Bowl rings as executives.  Unless we win this year's Super Bowl, Richardson never will.

I'm not sure I buy the "northerner" angle that is often played when discussing our front office.

Pure speculation on my part but at times it feels like our past GMs might not have had the amount of control that some thought.

I also find it interesting that nothing really came out of DG's camp after he was let go.  I was entirely too quite.

I find this interesting:

A) Bill Polian says Cam Newton is average. http://www.wfnz.com/articles/news/former-nfl-gm-bill-polian-point-cam-newton-average-qb-nfl

- Response is pro-Cam and Bill Polian is overrated and been a Panther hater since he left

B) Bill Polian talks about how tough it is to work for the Panthers.

- Reponse is pro-Panthers. Bill could do nothing with Manning and is salty for being fired.

My Conclusion

It could be both. Bill Polian is an old school GM. He will always look for reasons to hate on Cam. He got fired from the organization so he probably is salty. BUT, it does sound like things aren't always peachy at BOA.
