Panthers should rest the starters against Atlanta

If we did not rest our starters in week 17 in 2015 when sitting 14-1, why would we do so now with so much more on the line?  We need the momentum...and we need to make sure Atlanta does not make the playoffs.  The less division rivals that make the playoffs the better.

We play the 4:00 game. By the time we play, we will know where we sit, Playoff wise.

The argument to sit or not to sit, is as old as time itself. But...as some have stated. Our Offense, just may benefit from the extra game. So...IMO, playing all out against atl, is the way to go.

We may keep atl from the Playoffs, and we get valuable playing time for our...needy WR corp.. This Offense just may need the reps.

We actually won't know much at all by the time we play.  New Orleans and LA don't play until 4:25 either...so we will be playing in the same time slot as them.  The only game of importance before our game is the MN game.

I already made this thread.  It didn't end well for me.  Your scenerios are not accurate.  if the Saints, vikings  and Rams lose, and panthers win, panthers get #2 seed and a 1st round bye.  Thats alot to play for

To be the best, you have to beat the best,...

Ric Flair

no excuses, who dat is more like Who Was,...

the first 2 games we gifted them. 5-6 key untimely catastrophic mistakes in each game was the difference no matter what the score says.

besides if they beat us a third time in the same season and in the playoffs, we do not deserve a shot at the Super Bowl.

Period.

Don't deserve to rest after losing to the Saints twice, and to Chicago.

Play em, win the game, pull Kalil, Pep, Stew, CJ, Cam in the 4th if we have a very strong lead...I can't imagine that we will though.

I'm all for limiting Pep and Olsen's snaps though.
