This is the perfect time for these players to shake off the nerves of their first start.  I think if Clay can make a few plays his confidence will be high going into the playoffs.

Anyone remember the helmet catch for the Giants? I also remember them playing the hell out of the Patriots the last regular season game to a loss.

i believe it meant nothing for the Giants to win except they would beat the undefeated Patriots,..

that primes through some rough playoff games to the Super Bowl where those Patriots with Randy Moss would annihilate the Giants 9-10 games,... but not that day.

Green Bay and the Steelers had similar scenarios coming in as wildcards,... 

i say play to win at Atlanta. It’s a playoff game basically.

as for the scenario I’d rather us play the Saints then Phily because I still say #2 market in the country, first playoffs, they will be a darling team,.. meaning refs will be on vaseline duty,.. big time.

i we going to get bent over with no Vaseline, have it be in the NFCCs where the refs and nfl are on the big stage.

tampa came into carolina and almost beat us in a must win game to clinch a playoff spot. 

no way is that game a gimme. they're at home, with the possibility of spoiling the saints shot at the south crown. this is their superbowl. 

besides, frazier, bersin, clay, and shep all need to develop chemistry with Cam. I'd much rather it be in the regular season than the wild card round. 

play to win, and hope the rest of the pieces fall into place

    We play the 4:00 game. By the time we play, we will know where we sit, Playoff wise.

 

    The argument to sit or not to sit, is as old as time itself. But...as some have stated. Our Offense, just may benefit from the extra game. So...IMO, playing all out against atl, is the way to go.

 

    We may keep atl from the Playoffs, and we get valuable playing time for our...needy WR corp.. This Offense just may need the reps.
