90-102 was our record under Hurney. Unreal that some people are actually nostalgic for the Hurney era. I sure as hell don't want anything to do with part two of that. Hoping the new ownership will do the smart thing and send Hurney packing after the deal gets done before the ink is dry on the paperwork.

Anyone on here that is glad hurney is back should be disregarded. They clearly don't know anything. We need a new GM

He did it with Hurney's Players

Hurney built the core of this team.

With the absolute CAP hell created by Hurney that "core" would not have been around if it wasn't for DG doing what GMs are supposed to do. Your precious "Smitty" was/is a loud mouth bully and would still have his foot on Cam's throat if he was around. Screw him. And as far as Norman,  don't gamble with a man that holds the cards. He and his agent played games and lost. Norman was free to overplay because of the front 7. He hasn't done squat since he went to Washington. Both were on the edge of getting old. Belichick is right. Let them go a year early rather than a year late. Being a GM isn't about being anyone's friend. Run the damn business like a business.

3 of 4...?

He was the GM for the whole offseason before this year, this year definitely counts for him. Large majority of work done by a GM for a season is before training camp. Yes there are later moves like Hurney’s trades, etc. but that is of little importance compared to moves pre-camp.

That guy is a huge hurney backer. Gettleman had his screw ups.. Hurney screwed up more and now he's back. We need to move on from both of them
