Dave Gettleman Was A Terrible GM.

Let's see how he does in New York before saying he was a bad GM.  If he turns things around there, them those saying he was a bad GM can eat crow. If he sinks there they can crow all they want to.

Hurney made his share of mistakes but I take him anyday over that fat ass dave gettleman

Hurney is not as bad/good as a lot of people here think he is.

He didnt draft Cam........................................with the #1 pick in what may be the most stacked draft class in history, after being worst in the league.

 

 

Funny,  they never did anything with those "non gettleman" guys until he got there.  And when he came and puzzled cheap pieces (because we were in cap hell, makes anything the saints have been in recently look good) we started to win.

 

Goes on to make the playoffs 4 out of 5 seasons, Locks up those "non gettleman" guys in Cam and Luke to good contracts leaving room to spare.

He dragged this organization out of cap hell. He had to find players in a tight budget due to Hurney and his bullcrap contracts. They won championships and went to the SB.  The clown they have now would take them straight back to the toilet. With new owner ship, they will hopefully send him packing too. 

The Giants now have a capable GM that will help them rebuilt and become a contender. We have an incompetent proven failure and they have a guy who helped this franchise get back on it's feet.

Gettleman also got rid of the best player this franchise ever had so fug him he should have been shown the door when he cut Smitty.
