If Wilks gets offered a Head Coach position with the New York Giants and he has a top pick in the draft and could probably get the best QB in the draft which almost guarantees him job security for the next 3-5 years while making more money...

That sounds mighty attractive and I don't think that the Norman question will even be a little bit on his mind.

If he gets another head coaching gig, he will be known as the new Norv Turner.  My guess is he catches on as a DC somewhere.

Lots of speculation that Jim Schwartz will get the Giants head coaching gig based on Accorsi.

Others are betting on Josh McDaniels.

Eagles QB Coach John DeFillippo could be an option too. He was with the Giants for a few years under Gettleman.

Reich would be my first choice if I we're in Dave's shoes.  I'm going to be interested in what happens up in Giants headquarters this season.

What may hurt Reich is the perception that Pederson calls the plays.  That plus the NFL didn't put him on their recommended interview list.  Schwartz and DeFillippo are both on it.  So is Jim Bob Cooter.

Another name that's on it, and one that I find intriguing, Dave Toub.

Ron seems dedicated to Mr. Richardson, who is out.  Ron has no idea who the new owner and GM will be.  Getty thinks defensive minded HC's win the most.

I can't remember where I saw it, but some league observers think the last few years have dried up the pool of candidates. Teams changing coaches this year will look to some out of the box methods. Cincinnati is rumored to be trading for Hugh Jackson. Gettlemen could try to swing a trade for Ron. Ron just seems like a loyal guy, I'm not sure he'd be on board, but ya never know.

well if youre talking trade........doubt he has a no-trade clause in his contract.
