Both games they made us look silly. If Winston’s shoulder wasn’t hurt the first game, it would have been a similar result.

Our defense was pretty bad last year.  One of the worst pass defenses in the league.  It has actually improved dramatically this year.  If you are referring to 2015, the tools were definitely not about the same.  Almost the entire secondary was different.

Fine, Wilks has been just OK this year. Some of his blitz concepts have hurt us late in games too.

I wouldn't say zero chance.  He is building a top tier defense again and they are starting to put pieces together for a decent offense.   I don't think Chicago will fire him but if they did.  He'll get some interviews.

I will say if Wilks leave Al Holcomb probably leaves with him to become DC. I think Eric Washington becomes new DC and Sam Mills Jr becomes the new defensive line coach.

It's been written that Fox getting the axe is "a foregone conclusion". Possible GM Ryan Pace gets dumped too.

This will actually be his first official firing. In both of his prior jobs, the team simply let his contract lapse without an extension. Fox responded by mailing in his final performances (for an entire season, in our case).

I actually agree with Deac. I think he's done as a head coach.

I actually agree with Deac. I think he's done as a head coach.

I think he got a bum deal with Chicago.  They weren't too good and Mr. inconsistent Cutler was the QB. 

We'll see.   I think he at least gets a couple interviews.

Wouldn't be surprised to see him end up in NYG as the DC though.

We had two rookie corners, and a third coming off a broke leg.  We could have had the greatest secondary coach of all time, and it wouldn't have mattered.  We were going to struggle.  They did get better as the year rolled along, and they got better this year.
