When will "Mister" speak?

The only people he owes anything to are the people that he (allegedly) sexually harassed. Whether that be explanation, compensation, whatever. He owes us, the media, or anyone else nothing.

And I say this as someone who is pretty happy he's selling the team and pretty sure he did and said some creeper old man stuff.

We aren't owed anything. The only people making it hard on the players is the media trying to get their hot takes on a hot button issue so they can rake them over the coals at the slightest misstep.

It's annoying and shitty.

He took out his checkbook and said that he was more likely than not to lose in a court.

I dont care about anything he might say.  He already proved that he thinks a jury would convict him so any denials or apologies at this point would be meaningless.

I don't think you understand much about settlements. Yes, it may come about if someone feels they will lose in court. But that's not too common. Going to trial costs a ton of money in legal fees as well as time and stress for JR. We don't and won't know what he paid these "victims" but I doubt it was even close to what JR would've paid in legal fees if he didn't settle. Also, wouldn't have to deal with a long drawn out legal process which would be on his mind the entire time. I don't know why JR settled. But to assume it's because he thought he'd be held liable is ridiculous, and to act like it's "proven" is moronic.

In Soviet Union, opinions will not be tolerated and will, in fact, be silenced!

He does call himself TheRed, after all.

There is nothing he can say that will make this better for himself or the franchise. The media wants him to talk so they can write about it and disect his every word. Debate them on TV and Radio. The SI article read like a story. Not a factual report of events. They outed him because it was good business, not because they felt some moral obligation.

You being mentally disabled would at least give you some cover.

Unfortunately we don't ban people just for being backwards, sexist troglodytes.

And what is he supposed to say exactly?  What is he going to say to make you feel any better about the situation?  He's already voluntarily given up his NFL team -- his entire life's work and legacy -- which was about as harsh of a punishment that could of been bestowed upon him... and he administered it to himself.  That alone spoke volumes and immediately helped quell the situation around the team instead of letting it become an ongoing distraction.  The media is just scrambling now because they probably didn't expect JR to do something so drastic, so quickly and it effectively took away from their big story.

So what, you want him to come out and say something regarding the situation so you can just get even more pissed at the situation and continue to criticize him?  I seriously doubt a public apology is going to make anyone feel any better, they'll just say it's an insincere gesture from "mister", the 'old rich racist white man'.  Mr.  Richardson doesn't owe me or anyone here anything, none of us here know what exactly took place, if he truly does owe anyone any apologies then it was the people directly referenced in the SI expose.

It's over, let it go.

Nothing JR was accused of is illegal, nor should it be. Those "victims" had a choice as well. Leave the organization and never have to deal with JR again. They made their choice to stay.

This post is sickening.
