Are you banking on Kamara's yac to fall to justify McCaffery's being below the the threshhold? Kamara is just more explosive and better on contact than CMC. Hit comes cmc is going down...Kamara there is no promise that is going to happen...which justifies his yac and why he has more rushing touchdowns.

1. Yards after catch is YAC, I said yards per carry.

2. I'm banking on Kamara's 6.2 ypc to come down because that would mean he would be ranked as the number one back in NFL HISTORY in regards to ypc. Jamal Charles currently holds the running back record at 5.4 ypc and only Randall Cunningham and Michael Vick have a career ypc that his higher than 6.2. Sooooo yeah, that's coming down.

Parting ways with J Stew would be the most common sense move. He's slowed down quite a bit. He doesn't hit the hole as fast as he used to.

sadly this is true and was quite obvious...I love J Stew but he is showing his age now...

I still to this day have no idea what happened and made everyone say CMC was better than Dalvin when before the combine it was a consensus that dalvin was second only to Fournette...

could have had both and the answer to the decline from Stewart in one draft...

That is a great question. I will answer it in a few, but 1st things 1st.

The 3 main running backs were Dalvin, Fournette, and CMC. Most "experts" were clamoring Fournette was the consensus #1 back. While many agreed that Fournette would be the  best pick, all you really need to do is watch Dalvin Cooks Highlight reel from FSU to know he was special.

Dalvin Cook had better speed, more agility, and his ability to break through tackles was actually superior to Fournette(In my opinion anyways). While its all great and all that you can truckstick the living fug out of college secondaries that weigh 170 pounds and 210 linebackers, its takes extremely special powerback to do that in the NFL, like on the level of Jerome Bettis or AP.

Fournette's highlight real in college is amazing, but his style in my opinion was questionable when translating to the NFL, and many people got caught up in the HYPE Train of those trucksticks. As it turns out, he is not on the level of Jerome Bettis or AP and averages 3.9 ypc. A very good rookie back in the NFL, but his potential is not like Dalvin Cook's or CMC's.

CMC's running ability was ranked behind Fournette's and Cook's, and rightfully so. But thats not what made CMC a special player, he ability to split out at the slot and to catch out of the backfield is what made him the best all around threat of all 3 backs. Many people assumed he was going to Carolina, because he would be an amazing fit in this offense, and yes we got him.

NOW, Dalvin Cook was originally talked about as the best back in College football at one point. However serius character concerns dropped him down to the 2nd round. And in all honesty I thought he would be better in Carolina then CMC, because his catching ability is nothing to scoff at.

This video shows his absurd break away speed while running through arm tackles, anything that isnt a form tackle on this guy he will run through without breaking stride. In all honesty this is my favorite hype video of a RB that I have ever seen. In all honesty Dalvin might have been the 1st overall RB taken, had it not been for his massive red flags in the character department(gangs, drugs, booze). Just my 2 cents.

Had Dalvin not gotten injured he most likely would have been a lock for RoY

Fournette gets shutdown. by  decent defenses like Alabama. If u take away his 2 big runs of 90 and 75 where he had huge holes then his 3.9 avg becomes 3,26 ypc

I didn't want him at the draft, but I like what he's done so far.  Cam believes in him, he catches the ball as well as any other running back in the league and he should get better.  We will need him to really show up if we plan on making a run in the playoffs.  Not just as a decoy but as a threat that doesn't just draw defenders but beats them.  If we play the saints in the dome and beat them we should be in the big game again.

McCaffery has been terrible this past month.

Drops a ball against Minny leading to interception

Cant handle the onside kick and GB recovered

Cant shake on 3rd down as the number 1 option against TB resulting in a punt

has 2 drops today with one killing a drive.

He hasn’t been good

Astute observations, which players in the NFL have been good this month, considering it only takes less then a handful of bad plays to be a bad player.

Can you list some NFL players that have looked good the past month based on your criteria of "good" and "bad", thanks!

    • I think the Bucs and Eagles take care of us but we turn around and beat the Cowboys.  ATL and/or AZ could be wins depending on which version of them you get. TB knows Canales’ offense, and Coen has been calling great games. I have a hard time seeing us beat them this season. 4-13 floor 6-11 ceiling, would be surprised to see 7-10
    • My conundrum right now is, even if we have the top pick, I'm not sure if any QB in this year's draft class excites me. Too much questions with them for me to be comfortable handing the reigns for now. Even in FA, the QB class doesn't look enticing. At this point, the smarter move may be to see if Bryce can hit his pre-draft potential and start looking more like a franchise QB consistently while building up our weak points on defense.  Just not confident in the upcoming QB draft class this year would do any better than current Bryce, and that's with me questioning if Young can keep up this level of play.
    • Not buying any of this. Sorry.
