Could Raleigh eventually host a Franchise?

Lol @ the Charlotte vs Raleigh feud.

The both fuging suck. Charlotte just happens to suck a bit less and is better suited for professional sports teams, especially football.

The feud came back this year when both stupidly competed for an MLS franchise instead of NC going all-in with Charlotte. Raleigh not knowing their place and state leaders being in Raleigh led to the whole debacle of shooting us both.

Charlotte doesn't have any room downtown for an MLS team. While Raleigh does.  Raleigh actually had a solid proposal. While Charlotte's was hot garbage.  Yep, you're literally just speaking out of your ass at this point.

We're 16th in the league at 16,833 fans per game this year. The Canes are 31st at 12,183.

That'll drop soon, because the Hornets are hot garbage. While the Canes are winning. Also, the Canes made a profit last year. So..............60 million in fact.

The Hornets are a hot garbage team. They haven't won a playoff series since 2002: the same year Nickelback had the #1 Hot 100 song of the year. They've never even made a conference finals. They're one of the sneaky worst franchises in the Big 4 sports leagues in America. Despite that, they've never even come close to averaging as few fans as the former Stanley Cup Champion Canes have the past few years. There's really no comparison here. It's okay my dude: there are still a lot of cool things about Raleigh.

I mean, that's cool. But, the Hurricanes haven't made the Playoffs in eight years. Agreed, there isn't a comparison. Because the Canes have been more successful. And are STILL the only team in Carolina history with an actual Title. You can keep hyping up fans in seats if you want, like it matters. Because, it doesn't. As the Canes are still turning a profit. LOL. Keep it up, man. And I couldn't care less about this back and forth which city is better. Personally both are solid cities. But, there is something Raleigh has that Charlotte doesn't. Two cities beside it that are also growing in Durham (this one has grown tremendously), and Chapel Hill. While Charlotte has Charlotte, and that's it.

Raleigh is more accessible to both states too.  I'm in the Asheville area.  Going to Panther games isn't easy.  No good way to get there without some sort of delay.  I can get to Raleigh in 3.5 hours driving but the drive isn't as hectic.  The more I think on it the better North Raleigh or West Raleigh would be for a team.  Hmmm, I-77 or I-85 or I-95 out of SC;  Probably more participation from the SC clan.

Never gonna happen, man.  But, agreed. It would be better for people that the beach that want to see the team as well. It's a longer drive to go to Charlotte from the Wilmington/Myrtle Beach area.

I’d be all for soccer in Raleigh. We certainly don’t need that garbage in the Queen City.
