seriously, all valid points bro. im not freaking out about Byrd's loss as much as everyone else. yes it sucks cus the kid was coming on strong and was looking like a real contributor. Then again, he wasnt busting the tops off defenses either. Maybe he would have if he hadnt gotten hurt. but oh well. Tom Brady makes WR corps like this work almost every f*cking year. I believe Cam has that kind of greatness in him. For some of these Huddlers to freak out like they are is kind of insulting to Cam, as if he cant string together 5 wins with this WR corps. They forget what he did at Auburn. They forget what he did in 2015. Hell they are forgetting what he has done this year after we traded Benji. Seriously... Cam's receivers this year were Funchess, Samuel, Shepard, and Bersin after Benji was traded and we've gone 6-1. People were saying the same poo they're saying now and look what happened. Samuel had been doing nothing until that point and all the sudden took off (granted there was injury stuff with his situation) but still. No one should act like Samuel was some kind of savior. Or Byrd. Cam can make this work and i believe he will. Keep Fugging Pounding.

Clay has gotten behind defenses a couple times. i watched him do it about 3 times just last Sunday. the plays were designed runs and a short pass i think, but still. Clay is capable. and honestly, ive seen Funchess get 30 yards downfield pretty quick too. What this boils down to is Bersin, Shepard, and Clay need to be doing hands and route work all got damn week. Need to get them lots and lots of reps with Cam in all sorts of catching situations with DBs guarding them. They just need to be prepared and step up in game time. Need to use this weekend's matchup as a practice game for the playoffs. The Falcons' DBs arent slouches. Get them boys some work so that they'll be prepared for the Wild Card.

I think fans really underrate how difficult/impossible it is for a WR to come in one week before the playoffs and be of any help anytime soon... 1. They have to learn the playbook/route combinations. 2. How many times does Cam go to the LOS and gesture an audible to his WR, well they have to learn all that as well, and that's not taking into account 3. They have Zero chemistry with Cam.

Someone tried to compare this to the James Harrison signing by the Pats... he's a defensive lineman, he just puts his fingers in the dirt and rush, it's not the same. 

Are there better WR at home than on our roster? Probably, but when you take into account them having almost no idea what to do on the field because of unfamiliarity, you understand why a team stands pat and/or brings in a guy already familiar.

TBH, I just saw Duke comment on a panther post on IG earlier and thought he was already on the PS...  and the thought occurred to me: why was Mose Frazier on the roster and NOT Duke?  Duke had a few flubs, but he also showed a lot more potential to me over the duration of the preseason and from TC reports. 

I'd love to know what the deciding factor was there.
