Keep an eye on Derwin James. Would’ve been a top 5 for sure safety before injury, and his stock is starting to fall. Could end up having a franchise safety fall in our lap.

Seems like it would have to be a serious tumble for him to work his way down to us.

St.Brown... Sutton... Cambell(raw as hell)... I think we'd be better off getting a vet to step in ..incase of injury to Samuel and/or Byrd next yr. That being said, I'd love St.Brown!!!

Heck no

We just traded KB because we already have Funchess

So not a chance for Sutton or St. Brown.

Ridley, Kirk, Washington, Pettis

Sutton is one of the most over rated players in this draft.  He has talent but imo hes a early 2nd round guy like Funchess.  Big, but he isnt as fast as everyone thinks he is (will Shock me if he runs the 40 at the combine, will be pro day only if he runs).  Very limted and not a great route runner, SMU's offense is about as bare for routes as they comes.  Will struggle to come in a pro-offense and run a route tree

Kid is going to go top 10.

He did have the knee injury but doesnt look like he lost anything.  Kid had the film, but will also be one of the biggest combine Warriors.  Could easily see him coming in 6'2.5 215 posting a 4.45 or a little less.  Him and Kyzir White for West Virginia are going to have ti the combine people buzzing over their #s

We need to tighten up our pass coverage and our secondary is just too slow. We could replace Adams in the draft with a smart athletic safety. Emphasis on smart because RR doesn't forgive mistakes at the safety position. Just ask Tre (not so bright) Boston.

Drafting a versatile OC would be ideal because we really don't know how Ryan's health is going to pan out, and he's nearing the end of his career regardless.

We need a #1 WR, but I don't want to look to the draft for him. I'd rather have the finished product even if the price isn't great. We need an immediate upgrade at the WR position and spending serious money in FA in on the table imo.

Matt Kalil needs a competitor to push him. Drafting a good LT to compete against him for the position would be great.

Grandpa CJ and Pepp are near the end. Drafting a DE is pretty much mandatory, but how high is the only question.

I might be in the minority here but I think WR will be okay next year. Funchess, Samuel and Byrd is probably the most raw talented group of WRs we’ve had with Cam.  Would rather ya sign a vet than draft a WR personally.

1. DE-Have to assume C.J. is gone. Peppers may retire)

2. FS- No more throwing sht at a wall hope it sticks)

3. TE- Prepare for life without Olsen

3. LB/MLB- Gotta keep this group well stocked with TD getting up there and Luke’s injury history

Of course id love a LT but offensively we seem to consistently be competitive without a legit one. And since we are drafting in the 20’s I assume we will miss a premier talent. Would be great if we could draft a stud though.

I'd def use free agency preferably to address any offense skill positions since we're drafting so late and this class of WR outside of Ridley is extremely underwhelming. I might get a TE in R2 or R3 but I'd want all the rest of our picks in the first 3 rounds to be defense. We got alot of damn people right now who can neither cover their men nor make tackles in the open field

And the staff probably thinks exactly like you do, which is why we've been in a LT predicament since Gross left with the exception of 2015 healthy Oher pre-SB 50.

our lack of talent at OT is what killed us badly all of last year and really killed us when it mattered the most in the SB.

If we managed to keep R. Kalil healthy, keep Norwell, and get a young franchise LT beat out M.Kalil we could have the oline turn into a major strength instead of a liability in crucial obvious passing situations

1) DE - We're going to cut CJ and we can't rely on a 38 year old soon to be FA Peppers. Daeshon Hall and Bryan Cocks are nice depth pieces but we need a long term answer at DE.

2) S - Adams is 36 and Coleman will be 30 next year. Our defense could use an athletic cover safety.

3) TE - Greg will be 33 and Dick-son is a free agent. We need another TE more than we need another WR.
